Steve Escalante

Steve Escalante was and raised in Southern California and attended the University of Nevada-Las Vegas (UNLV) with an emphasis in Business Management and Marketing.  A seasoned real estate professional, Steve has significant experience in managing local, regional and international real estate and business development ventures, including commercial, condo, multi-family, mixed use, golf, resort hotel and gaming projects.  He has been in the management and sales of over $1 billion in real estate projects locally and internationally and is currently also a principle investor of the international real estate brokerage Engel & Völkers Las Vegas offices.

 

Steve has over twenty (20) years of soccer coaching experience managing and directing teams ranging from youth and development to professional level players.  He currently holds various USSF national coaching licenses and is known to develop talent on and off the field. In 2013 he founded the soccer club Barcelona Nevada which evolved into what is known today as the Nevada International Futbol Club (NIFC).  This project began with one team and a vision to bring Spanish style system and methodology of the game to Las Vegas.  Within fours (4) years NIFC saw exponential growth quickly becoming recognized in the western region as a club that produces professional talent and plays within a clear identity of possession based football. Steve’s high level of energy, enthusiasm, professionalism and determination along with his vast business and sporting knowledge are an asset TSM and its clients.

Andy B. Salandy
Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Andy B. Salandy has enjoyed a distinguished and decorated amateur, collegiate and professional soccer career. After a very dominant high school career, he went on to study at Appalachian State University (ASU) in North Carolina, U.S.A., on a full soccer scholarship, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science (B.S) and Master of Science (M.S.) degrees in Biology.

 

While at Appalachian State University, he served as Captain of the Men's Varsity Soccer team, earning 1st team All-Conference, Tournament MVP and All-South honors. Mr. Salandy still holds the record for the most games played in the history of ASU soccer and finished his collegiate soccer career as a 3-time academic All-American. He went on to play professional soccer in the USISL with the Chattanooga Express, starting every game during the 1994-1995 season. In 2012, Mr. Salandy was recognized by ASU for his outstanding contributions and inducted into the prestigious ASU Sports Hall of Fame.

 

Mr. Salandy is the Founder and Executive Director of FC Cardinals, one of the most successful youth soccer clubs in Winston-Salem North Carolina. In addition, he is a very successful Entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience as a top Networker in various commercial enterprises. As the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of TSM International, Mr. Salandy is responsible for implementing the vision and continued expansion of TSM’s global footprint. Mr. Salandy's experience as a decorated soccer player, successful coach and Entrepreneur with tremendous Networking skills, along with his extensive connections in the soccer (Football) world, are invaluable in guiding the day-to-day operations of TSM International.

Roget V. Bryan
Co-Founder & President

As the Co-founder and President of TSM International, Mr Bryan is pivotal in developing strategic partnerships and global networking of both TSM clients and the TSM brand. His extensive legal knowledge and experience, business acumen and sports management expertise are invaluable resources for TSM International and its clients. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History from Tufts University in Massachusetts, U.S.A., where he also earned distinction in Men's Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field. He subsequently attended Florida State University where he jointly earned his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) in Law and Master of Science (M.S.) in International Affairs.

 

As a practicing attorney for over twenty years, Mr. Bryan has provided a diverse range of legal services to individuals, small businesses, large corporations, non-profit organizations, local government entities, professional athletes and international sporting institutions during his legal career. He has written, published, consulted and advised on several subjects and projects, including World Cup qualifying campaigns, Global Sports for Peace and Development, and Sports Tourism. Mr. Bryan is a registered FIFA/USSF Intermediary and is a Florida Bar board certified expert in City, County & Local Government Law. 

 
 
 
Darin Roberts
Director of Marketing & Strategic Partnerships

Darin A. Roberts was raised in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, where he excelled as a leader in community development and showed the initial signs of his gift of motivational speaking and personal development training. He later attended Pace University in New York where he obtained his undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems (MIS). While at Pace University he cultivated a passion for business development, which launched him on a long and successful career as an analyst for several highly successful Fortune 500 organizations on Wall Street. He has since formed his own Technical Consulting Company, where he continued his representation of corporate giants.

Mr. Roberts headed the launch and marketing efforts of major companies in the Telecommunication and Distribution industries and most recently obtained executive status with a leading Health and Nutrition organization. He is also President and co-founder of Into the Ark Foundation, where he continues to foster his passion for the growth and achievement of others. Mr. Roberts currently serves as the Director of Marketing and brings with him a wealth of corporate management and marketing experience. He is based in New York City where he lives with his wife and two sons.

 
 
Kendall Reyes
Special Advisor: Director for Coaching Education

Kendall is a highly credentialed and decorated soccer coach who serves as a Special Advisor and Consultant to TSM for Coaching Education. With more than 20 years of coaching experience – 17 at the collegiate level – Kendall currently holds several NSCAA (now United Soccer Coaches) credentials (including Director of Coaching, Premier & Goalkeeping II) a CONCACAF Special Topic Diploma, and the ICA Bronze Coaching Certificate. He’s been the chair of Regional All-American selection committees and on the all American selection committees. Kendall was a past Chair of the Black Soccer Coaches Advocacy Group. He has a master’s degree in education and as a player, he led Francis Marion University Men’s Soccer team as the captain for 4 years.

 

As the founder of Soccer Vision Global, a Player Development & Leadership Academy, Kendall also provides planning and oversight of summer and winter camp programs at various locations regionally and internationally. He has developed a Small-Sided Games Training Curriculum; Collaborated on the development of Leadership Academy Curriculum; Served as Project Manager for Chicago City South Africa World Cup 2010 Coaching Education & Leadership project.  He has presented player development training programs and curriculum in Bermuda, and Africa (Nigeria & Ghana) and Trinidad. He was an NSCAA delegate at the African Cup of Nations Tournament (2008) in Ghana. Coach Reyes also served the NSCAA Black Soccer Coaches Committee (BSCC) as Vice Chairman (2 terms 2008 – 2013). Served on the NSCAA Coaching Education Strategic Planning Committee. He is the author of: “Barcelona- Mastering the Art and Principles of Attacking”, World Class Coaching (Journal Article Published July 2011); Republished November 2011 & January 2012 - NSCAA Soccer Journal.

 
Earl "Spiderman" Carter
Director of International Soccer Camps

An outstanding soccer coach with significant coaching experience at youth and professional levels and one of the most talented goalkeepers in T&T football history. A standout member of the T&T national team at youth and yenior levels and played for the legendary New York Cosmos in the North American Soccer League (NASL). Played alongside legions in the game such as Pele and Beckenbauer.

 

Facilitated as Assistant Head Coach at Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1979. In 1990 was part of the Ivy League coaching staff for Columbia University (USA). As Head Coach with Tewksbury Soccer Academy, we won two (2) New Jersey state titles in 2003 and 2004 and led the team to the No. 1 ranked U-12 and U-13 teams finished first in the United States. Technical Director of the Jabloteh professional team in the professional league in Trinidad and Tobago (2011-2012). Assistant Coach at Columbia University, (USA), 1990 – 1995 Part Owner/Director of a satellite company, Realism LTD that was contracted with Direct TV to service the entire Bergen and Rockland counties in the state of New Jersey, USA. The company employed 25 workers grossing $80,000.00 monthly.

 

Coach Carter has conducted programs in leadership development, life skills, self-image psychology and motivational strategies. He has documented results showing improved levels of player self-confidence, self-belief and athletic performance. He is a Chaconia Silver Medal Winner, National Award of Trinidad and Tobago.

 

Coach Carter’s vast experience and tremendous knowledge is the areas of goalkeeping and coaching makes him the ideal candidate to serve the role as Director of “ The Spiderman” Goalkeepers Academy and Director of National and International soccer camps.

 
 
Roger Romain
Professional Development Scout

Roger's educational background augments his many years of practical work in the Caribbean and North America as a youth coach, youth development coordinator and team manager.  His experience in research, analysis and implementation of youth development practices and quality control measures, coupled with his years of experience in soccer development, facilitates Roger's role as a key component of TSM's  player identification index and scouting of talented players. 

 
Yordanos Fesshaye
Global Ambassador for Business Development

With over a decade of experience in professional make-up artistry, Yordanos Fesshaye has made a name for herself working in the beauty and fashion industries. Currently serving as a make-up artist for the top leading brand-Chanel, Yordanos shares her expertise as a spokesperson for the brand. A native of Washington D.C., Yordanos first gravitated to beauty at a young age. Known for creating “healthy and glowing looking skin”, Yordanos treasures the vast experience she has gained through her career as a make-up artist. Her popular skin care line-Shenen is proof of her knowledge in the industry, she continues to make clients feel beautiful from the inside and out.

Yordanos continues to work backstage at numerous fashion shows around the world. In 2012, as a recgonized beauty expert, Yordanos launched her own line of skin care products called Shenen. Since then she has had the opportunity to travel the world in promotion of her line. With this global travel and exposure, she has been able to find some of the world’s best brands of color cosmetics to perform her work as an artist. 

 
 

An experienced Marketing Consultant, Ronald Aqui holds a Masters Degree in Marketing from the University of Lincoln, England. A highly accomplished business professional within his native Trinidad, Ronald has managed and chaired many sporting and non-sporting organizations while lending his marketing and business development experience and extensive network to each endeavor. TSM's motto ‘Turning Dreams Into Contracts’ is reflected in Ronald's passion and commitment to manifest a new reality for the youth of the Caribbean through TSM's regional development affiliate - TiDi Caribbean.

Michael Awai
Business Development Director- TiDi Caribbean

Michael Awai is a highly experienced Operations and Management Consultant specializing in new business operations. As a former CEO Michael has held several management positions in the Motor vehicle industry, Construction sector and Engineering and Services sector with one of the leading Conglomerates in the Caribbean region. Subsequently, as a business development consultant, Michael has been successfully creating solutions for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises for several years. Michael's passion for football encouraged him to establish a football club in 1997 which participated in the inaugural Professional Football League in Trinidad in 1999. Over the past two decades, he has successfully facilitated contracts in Europe for players, facilitated scholarships and developed scouting combines and showcase tournaments, while also playing a pivotal role on both the technical and front office fronts for a professional football club.  Michael's business development acumen and experience is a key asset for the expansion and growth of TiDi Caribbean.

Michael Seium
Communications Director

Michael Seium is an accomplished Television sports/news Journalist with many years of experience at the local national and International levels. Mike was also a former college soccer scholarship athlete who went on to help launch a well-known International English broadcast center in Washington D.C by contributing technically while also producing stories for the sports department. Following a three-year stint with an International news network, Mike began consulting as a Producer and worked for an international Sports channel covering major sports events such as the NBA, NASCAR, NHRA, World Challenge Soccer, ATP Tennis, The Pan American games in Guadalajara as well as many other sports news and feature stories for the Sport channel. Mike holds a Master Degree in International Sports Management from GMU (George Mason University). His years of communication and Public Relations experience will bring a lot to the table for TIDI Sports Management's strong team.
