Jason
Cudjoe to re-sign with W-Connection

Jason Cudjoe
will re-sign with W-Connection of Trinidad & Tobago for the 2005
season. Cudjoe secured his place in the W-Connection lineup
notching 4 goals this past season, after joining the club on a free
transfer from the Virginia Beach Mariners of the
A-League. Cudjoe expects to enjoy a breakout season
for Connection in 2005. W- Connection is scheduled to leave on a
pre-season tour of Europe in late January 2005.
Cornelius
Huggins & St. Vincent/Grenadines advance
December 2004

Cornelius Huggins
and St. Vincent/Grenadines advanced to the Third Round of the
Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Digicel Cup, after winning their
Second Round Series against Grenada. St. Vincent/Grenadines beat
Grenada 4-1 on aggregate goals. Huggins, one of SVG’s most capped
and experienced players, has played virtually every game in both
World Cup and Gold Cup Qualifying plays this year since returning
from injury. St. Vincent/Grenadines next plays Trinidad & Tobago in
a home and away series on January 9 and January 16, 2005. The
Digicel Cup is the Caribbean qualification to the 2005 CONCACAF Gold
Cup.
Addae Rique on target for St.
Louis
December 2004

Addae Rique
opened his goal scoring account for the 2004-5 MISL season during
the St. Louis Steamer’s 9-3 home victory over the Cleveland Force.
Rique signed with the Steamers in March 2004 after forgoing his
senior collegiate season at Southern Illinois University. The 5-9,
160 lbs midfielder was named NSCAA/adidas Division II First Team
All-American in 2003 after registering 14 goals and 11 assists
during his junior year and leading the Conference in scoring. Rique
has his sights firmly set on earning a call-up for the Trinidad &
Tobago National Senior Team during the 2005 World Cup Qualifying
campaign.
Seretse Cannonier goes the
distance
December 2004

Seretse Cannonier
and St. Kitts/Nevis were knocked out of the CFU Digicel Cup
Tournament after losing 3-0 to Haiti on aggregate goals. Cannonier
has enjoyed strong form for the National Team over the past few
months, but was unable to prevent St. Kitts/Nevis from going under
to Haiti in the Digicel Cup. The 5-11, 175 lbs midfielder started
in virtually every game for St. Kitts/Nevis during their recently
ended World Cup Qualifying campaign. He now has over 80 caps for
the St. Kitts/Nevis National Team. Cannonier will heading out to
Europe and Asia on trials in coming months.
Conrad Smith remains on track
December 2004

Conrad Smith
continued
his strong form for the Trinidad & Tobago National Senior Team
during the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Digicel Cup Tournament.
Smith scored during T&T 5-0 home win over Puerto Rico in the opening
game of the tournament, which serves as the qualification tournament
for the 2005 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Smith also appeared in T&T’s
victories over Suriname and the British Virgin Islands. He now has
7 goals in just 20 appearances for the National Senior team. Smith
enjoyed a strong 2004 season with the Calgary Mustangs of the
A-League, leading the team in scoring with 6 goals and 2 assists.
Robin Hart
called for training with Trinidad & Tobago

Robin Hart
has been
in Trinidad & Tobago training with the National Senior Team as they
prepare for the upcoming CFU Digicel Cup and the final round of
CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying Play. Robin enjoyed a standout 2004
season with Edmonton FC of the A-League which caught the attention
of T&T National Team officials. The 5-8, 160 lbs left-footer is
hoping to earn his first cap for the National Senior team during the
final round of 2005 CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying Campaign after
being a member of the U-23 team in 1999. |
